🗣️ From February 4 to 6, Reus became the meeting point for the partners of the European project Agora, an initiative that includes the participation of representatives from tourism, communication, and promotion companies, as well as local producers and training centers from Spain, including the Reus-based organization DomSpain, France (Italian Chamber of Commerce Nice Sophia Antipolis and Eurakom), Italy (Taste Roots Società Cooperativa), Belgium (Cooperation bancaire pour l’Europe), Cyprus (Eurosuccess), Bulgaria (Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals), Greece (p-consulting), and Finland (Greenescape).
🍃 The project aims to support local ecosystems through collaboration between community partners, local producers, and tour operators, with a focus on the co-creation of regenerative tourism experiences.
👉 This model is based on authenticity, originality, and sustainability, promoting a holistic and experiential understanding of local dynamics and the interconnection between all the elements that make up the tourism ecosystem.
🎯 The diversification of involved agents allows for increasing the resilience of ecosystems and developing inclusive and equitable tourism, ensuring that all voices of the community are heard and represented.
🚵 Agora wants to be a transformational and inspiring project, fostering a new way of traveling that not only pursues economic benefit, but also promotes environmental and social responsibility. This translates into a conscious protection of cultural heritage and local traditions, ensuring that tourism experiences benefit both visitors and the receiving community and its environment.
