A MEETING WITH THE TASTE OF PAN BAGNAT

The ITALIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE hosted the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ AGORA project, the first meeting between the ten partners involved in this ambitious project, focused on REGENERATIVE TOURISM and IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES.

The official meeting took place in Nice on the 18th and 19th of January, although most of the members met on the 17th to finalise the details of the meeting and enjoy a social dinner, where all the guests were able to exchange their different perspectives and concerns about regenerative tourism and to catch up on the different needs of each country. In addition, they were also lucky enough to taste some of the region’s typical dishes made with Km0 products which, of course, carry the hallmark of the excellent French cuisine.

In the first session, the director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, which coordinates the project, officially welcomed the partners. Each of the organisations introduced their participants, presenting their profile and giving details of their experience in relation to Erasmus+ projects and in particular regenerative tourism.

After the joint introduction, a discussion focused on the concepts of “regenerative tourism” and “immersive experience”, the two pillars of the project. From here, the partners agreed on the time plan, the activities to be carried out and the distribution of tasks.
Among the activities to be carried out, the implementation of the second work package was highlighted, based on field research with the aim of creating a guide of experiences related to regenerative tourism.

The next block of the meeting focused on the promotion strategy and the administrative and financial aspects of the project. The quality and assurance plan was also presented and the next steps were clarified.

At the end of the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to meet the representatives of Nice at the town hall, before leaving for a guided tour of this charming city on the Côte d’Azur.
