AGORA pretende apoyar los ecosistemas locales mediante la interconexión de socios comunitarios, productores locales y agentes turísticos y el codiseño de experiencias turísticas regenerativas basadas en la autenticidad, la originalidad y la sostenibilidad.
El enfoque se basa en los principios clave del turismo regenerativo:
Los socios desarrollan materiales de aprendizaje a medida para los agentes de la comunidad local implicados (o dispuestos a estarlo) en el ecosistema turístico que, a largo plazo, adaptan la oferta turística existente a las demandas de los nuevos clientes conscientes de la sostenibilidad, que no sólo desean minimizar el impacto negativo del turismo, sino también generar un impacto positivo directo y construir ecosistemas (turísticos) más positivos para el planeta.
AGORA trabajará por una mayor gobernanza colaborativa de los ecosistemas turísticos con un enfoque ascendente promoviendo el papel de los centros de aprendizaje.
AGORA aims at supporting local ecosystems by interconnecting community partners, local producers, and tourism agents and the co-designing of regenerative tourism experiences based on authenticity, originality, and sustainability.
The approach is based on key principles of regenerative tourism:
The partners develop tailored learning materials for local community agents involved (or willing to be) in the tourism ecosystem that, in the long term, align the existing provision of tourism offers to the demands of the new sustainability-conscious customers, not only wanting to minimise the negative impact of tourism but also generate direct positive impact and build more planet positive (tourism) ecosystems.
AGORA will work for a higher collaborative governance of tourism ecosystems with a bottom-up approach by promoting the role of learning centres.
